Our Design Team
Bethan is our UK based designer and is the founder of The Ironwork Studio in
England. Her skills include; blacksmithing, 3D design, CAD drawing and
designing in both period style and contemporary styles. Her design expertise
and knowledge of architectural metalwork is without peer. Bethan is often
consulted by leading architects to refine their ideas and develop them further
using her expert knowledge of blacksmithing and workshop practices.
BETHAN GRIFFITHS
JB Wrought Iron founder and Director, John Bransby, has over 35 years’
experience in architectural metalwork. He has trade qualifications in metal
fabrication and has some blacksmithing experience. John has a diploma in
Project Management and whilst not having anywhere near the creative skills of
Bethan or Dave, certainly has an eye for good design and knows the right
design option when he sees it. With extensive industry connections, John can
find the right people for every project.
JOHN BRANSBY
Master blacksmith, Dave Fleming has worked directly with Bethan Griffiths in
the UK and with Topp & Co, who set the standard for architectural metalwork
craftmanship and design. Dave brings the knowledge and experience gained
from working with these masters of architectural metalwork design in the UK,
to Australia. Blacksmithing is Dave’s passion and he is both a creative artist and
a master tradesman.
